Dear Reader,

A long time ago, during a time of confusion and frustration in my life, a friend told me, “Just keep walking. You’ll find your way.” I think of those words often, especially when I’m trying to unknot a problem. Walking helps me to think, to write. And even if I don’t know where I’m going, I get somewhere. Eventually.

Not long after that I was attending a writers festival and thought it was such a great event that I wanted to tell people about it. I took out my phone and recorded a video as I was walking down the street to the next talk. Little did I know it would become the first of many walks, and that they would become the vessel for an ongoing conversation with you and so many others about how we make our way through this mysterious, glorious, bewildering experience called life.

I keep walking. And wondering and questioning and discovering and hoping. And you and I meet here each week and for five minutes or so, to talk and check in on what we’re learning and doing. I post a walk video each week, weather permitting. I invite you to keep walking with me. Join the conversation. Invite your friends. As I like to say, inspire others as you’re inspired, and we’ll all grow together.
